Privacy Policy

Who we are
POV AMP (“we”, “us”) helps professionals and teams build their brand by finding relevant public conversations and drafting responses in their voice. This policy describes what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to povamp.com and the POV AMP application.
Information we collect
Account information. Your email address (used for sign-in links), your name, and the team/workspace details you provide.
Connected social accounts. When you connect a social account (for example LinkedIn), we receive your basic profile information (name, email, profile identifier) and an access token authorizing the specific actions you granted — such as publishing a post you have explicitly approved. Access tokens are stored encrypted and isolated from normal application access. We never receive or store your social media passwords.
Content you create. Your points of view, drafts, edits, ideas, comments, and writing-style preferences.
Public social content. To find conversations worth joining, we process publicly available posts and engagement metrics from platforms such as Reddit, LinkedIn, and X, including your own public post history when you ask us to derive your profile and writing style.
Usage data. Standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected by our hosting infrastructure for security and reliability.
How we use information
- To operate the product: find relevant conversations, generate draft responses in your voice, and track engagement on items in your queue.
- To improve your writing guidelines: when you edit an AI draft, we compare your edit to the draft to refine your personal style guide.
- To publish content — only content you have explicitly approved. POV AMP never posts automatically on your behalf.
- To send you service emails (sign-in links, notifications you have enabled).
- To secure, debug, and improve the service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your private data to train AI models.
AI processing
Draft generation and style analysis are performed using third-party AI models. Content needed for these features (such as the post being replied to, your relevant points of view, and your style guide) is sent to our AI providers for processing under commercial terms that prohibit using it to train their models.
Service providers
We rely on a small set of processors to run POV AMP:
- Vercel (application hosting)
- Supabase (database and authentication)
- AI model providers (draft generation and style analysis)
- Resend (transactional email)
- Cloudflare (DNS and email routing)
- Trigger.dev (background job scheduling)
- Waldo (public social-content data)
Each provider processes data only as needed to provide its service to us.
LinkedIn and other platform data
Our use of information received from LinkedIn’s APIs is limited to the functionality you authorize: signing you in, identifying your profile, and publishing posts you explicitly approve. You can disconnect a platform at any time from Settings → Connections, which deactivates the stored token; you may also revoke POV AMP’s access from the platform’s own settings. We comply with each platform’s developer policies.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies: keeping you signed in and securing the OAuth connection flow. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete drafts, ideas, POVs, and connections in the app at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email us — we will complete the deletion within 30 days. Disconnecting a social account deactivates its access token immediately.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Social access tokens are stored in a restricted credential store separate from normal application data. Access to production systems is limited and audited.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise any of these rights and we will respond promptly.
Children
POV AMP is a professional tool not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and notify active users by email or in the app.
